For the EIGHTH year in a row Susquehanna University graphic
design majors dominated the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Real Show
student design competition, with more work accepted than any other school — and
more medals as well!
SU had an astonishing 17 of 26 total pieces selected for the
juried show, and 8 of the 12 medals awarded! There were a dozen schools
involved this year, and the competition received hundreds of entries.
Here’s a summary of the results:
Susquehanna: 17 accepted, including 8 medals
American University: 3 accepted, including 2 medals
Mississippi State University: 2 accepted, including 2 medals
James Madison: 2 accepted
Boston University: 1 accepted
Longwood University: 1 accepted
It's also worth noting that the graphics for this year's show were design by last year's big winner: Josh Schott '11, who designed the show poster and call for entries that were sent out to announce the competition to all of the colleges and universities involved. Here's Josh's poster:
